No Salt Added - Fifteen years ago, Owner Randy Crook and Manager Richard Guthrie had small talk and big ideas of a local sports bar with great food, drinks, entertainment, outstanding service, and just plain fun. That small talk eventually turned into a dream that both men strived to obtain over the next decade, but not without discouragement and a spell of bad luck.
The first attempt in the mid 90's fell through, however, this speed bump did not distract them from their ultimate dream. Flash forward 12 more years. During the second attempt, all things seemed right and their dream was slowly becoming a reality, when once again their best efforts were demolished when they lost the proposed location.
But a real dream, and a strong will, eventually led to the formation of the all new Salty Dog Sports Bar and Grill in the Summer of 2010. With a hot newly acquired building located in the Ridgewood Village center in Waco, TX, this was the perfect foundation to build on and provide Waco with a great new spot for enjoying exciting sports action, great food, and good company! So sit back, relax, have a drink, and soak up all that the Salty Dog has to offer!

Please be aware that there is a $10,000 franchise application fee (non-refundable). Additionally applicant must have liquidity of $750,000 and credit facility of $1.3mm. A minimum of three years operating experience in night club and/or restaurant business is also required.
